RPI Day 3
Another day on the screen with the RPI team, hooray!
We started with some feedback and sharing how our last 3 weeks have gone. Lots of positivity.
A look at our taskboards showed a variety of approaches all with merit. Very clear intentions and success criteria. I guess the second session worked! For myself I had the follow up resources elsewhere - in the groups modeling books. I will include links so it becomes a reusable resource.
Text Selection
Watch out for the September big pay back, (James Brown)!

HI Nick! Great to read your blog post about the day. I too think everyone was quite positive about the Day 2 implementation and there was certainly a range of different task boards to look at that people created to fit the needs of their contexts. I like your idea of adding the links to the workbooks for the specific activities. This certainly adds to the visibility and rewindability of the learning for your students. I love your use of magpieing! A great way to get as much as possible out of the course content and the sharing in this particular RPI cohort! I hope you enjoy using screencasts with your class.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Kiri. Thanks for the feedback and reminding me to get on to my screencasting! See you next term
DeleteKia ora Nick! Great reflection mate, and great to hear your getting lots out of the programme. I did spare you a thought at that game. The Manly players will be pleased the next meet isn't at Mt Smart again I bet haha!
